This week, Epic Games is living up to its name and surpassing just about every gimmicky advent calendar available by offering 15 days of free games. Just the offer of a handful of indie titles would be enough to have many scrambling to download their distribution service for a look-in, but with the 15-day countdown opening with the acclaimed Cities Skylines – which currently sits at £22.99 on Steam – it’s a good sign of things to come.
In one of the most Christmassy moves this year, the digital distribution service is giving its users 24 hours per day from now until the end of the month to download a number of mystery titles. This means that whatever game is available during that 1-day window can be downloaded and kept forever, for absolutely free. Bargains don’t get more epic than that.
