"Future Hate" is a raw, heavy hitting four piece punk band from Mobile, Alabama USA. But not what you might think. This is NOT the shirtless boys, arm-in-arm singing rehashed rip off sea chanty happy punk. This is the music of an animal baring its teeth to inflict a maiming and fatal bite. Short songs that are "to the point." No ballads, just danger, and unpredictability.
The band and the music is the sum of its parts, four people creating noisy,
artful punk songs that express their personalities and relationships with anger, hostility, despair, and death. (Lead vocalist Miranda is actually an operating mortician in Alabama, which makes her lyrics even more creepy).
The band first began performing as scuzzy rock group "Naked Intruder",
releasing one vinyl record before tensions mounted and it was soon flushed.
To regroup, guitarist Dennis Hyland, drummers Austin Reidy and David White,
bassist Matt Martin, and Miranda picking up her bass too,
recorded an E.P. in North Carolina called "CCCR" with well known illustrator Jamie Vayda on the microphone.
Once back in the groove of creating and exorcising demons,
the band decided to unleash Miranda Macabre as the permanent singer,
and has built a following throughout the Southern part of the US and scattered across the globe.
This is only the beginning for Future Hate, a band that has drawn comparisons to older acts such as "Black Flag", "Plasmatics", and "Jesus Lizard" but manage not to sound like any. It only sounds like "Future Hate", combative.
And it is meant to be played at maximum volume.
