Following its warm reception in Latin America and South East Asia, global gaming lifestyle brand, Razer, is bringing its gaming tournament Invitational to Europe – set to be the largest EU-based open tournament of its kind. Plus, with the invitation extending to players of all skill levels, Fortnite fans who dream of esports riches can win big.

The Razer Invitational Europe intends to bring together stars, pros and amateurs in a tournament that could net participants a heap of cash and hardware prizes. Not only that, but the boundless generosity of Razer will also see viewers and followers of their social media channels on the receiving end of spot prizes throughout the length of the tournament, so you know, it’s probably worth tuning in to.

“With the Razer Invitationals in Southeast Asia and Latin America, we brought together thousands of players from 16 countries to compete in open tournaments, which garnered tremendously enthusiastic feedback from the community,” said Zuber Mohammed, Chief Marketing Officer for Razer. “Bringing this initiative to other regions around the world is a natural next step, and we look forward to European gamers signing up for their very own Razer Invitational. We know they are going to love the competition and the chance to sharpen their skills in a large-scale event. Who knows, maybe we’ll discover the next Bugha or Zayt!”

The Razer Invitational Europe will begin on 5th December with an exhibition match between European streaming stars including Krench Royale, Rogalik, Rafa. Six tournaments will then take place between 10th December – 30th January with live streams being broadcast in English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Polish.

Given the lack of skill barriers, why not try your hand and sign up now? In fact, if you’re terrible at Fortnite, we urge you sign up ASAP for the lol-factor alone. Swing by the official RI-Europe website for all the info on registration information, schedules for the qualifiers, channels to follow and where to watch the tournaments and follow the hashtag #ThisIsEsports for all of the latest updates.
